The Sino-Southeast Initiative (SSI) accepts unsolicited submissions to be published on our website as a Guest Author. We accept articles related to China and/or Southeast Asia related to one of our five coverage sections.

Articles should be at least 1000+ words long, and they can be an array of forms: opinion pieces, argumentative essays, or pieces of analysis.

Style

• Use American English and conventions.
• Hyperlink sources within the article; no footnote or endnote citations.
• Images, figures and charts should have appropriate copyright and permission for them to be republished (e.g., Creative Commons license).

To make a submission, please email us with the subject “SSI Article Submission – [Insert Name]” with 1) Your first and last name, 2) .docx copy of the article, 3) a short bio (100 words or fewer), 4) link to your LinkedIn profile (if applicable).
